Logo: Newton-le-Willows Beer Festival

logo-2017

A logo based on the Newton-le-Willows crest, which features a ram’s head and, for some reason, a disembodied, armoured arm with a St George’s cross flag. I decided to have some fun and¬†anthropomorphised (not every day I get to use that word) the ram, reattach the arm (and armour) and represent the flag as a pint. I like this one and it’s been used ever since I designed it, six years ago.

Logo: The Growlery

Logo for studio complex and generally hangout of miserable, dusty, heartless old curmudgeon (i.e. our converted garage/man cave).
Generally just another excuse for more Victorian typography, more interlocking, oversized init-caps, more crosshatch shading blah, blah.
This one is leather-bound and if you get close enough to your screen, you can actually smell the rich mahogany.
